What’s the first thing you do when you arrive at a new theatre and before a show?
The first thing we do as actors is check the stage just in case there are any differences. For example the space might be smaller so we have to re-work some parts of the play to make them fit. Then we find the changing rooms and settle in.
What do you do if someone from the audience shouts something at you during a show?
It depends on where in the play that may happen. If it was during an audience participation scene then we would actively encourage response as we love to improvise and respond. Otherwise, we try very hard to ignore it!
You have to wear the same costume for every show. Do you have a top tip for keeping them clean?
Luckily I have a few extra costume pieces so that I can wear a fresh, dry costume each show. Febreeze also comes in handy during the tour - in fact the company should really have shares in the product!
What is the most fascinating thing you have learnt about lions?
That the Lion with the most magnificent mane is usually the leader of its pride. The alpha male so to speak. As a result of watching so many wildlife programmes I have managed to perfect an excellent ROAR!!

Just seen Aesops Fables at the Mercury Colchester with my grand daughter. Excellent show, the children were fascinated.
