Theatre in Education

High Quality, Inspiring, Engaging and Educational

We take great pride in our relationship with the education sector. All of our Theatre in Education work is moulded by detailed discussion with teachers who help us develop work that is in line with the national curriculum. This is at the heart of the company and what drives us to increase both quality and the breadth of our work, not just in schools but across Wales through main stream Theatre.

We produce 2 productions for schools annually:

  • Each Spring we tour our Foundation Phase production for years 1 & 2, which tours throughout the counties of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Bridgend. Exploring themes and skills taken from the curriculum framework, these shows offer a thrilling first theatrical experience, never to be forgotten!
  • Each Autumn we stage our production at the Dylan Thomas Theatre, Swansea for years 5 & 6. Our 3 month residency enables us to provide a full theatrical and historical experience, all in one visit! Every school that sees our show will also visit Swansea Museum adjacent to the theatre to take part in workshops and explore some of the historic themes raised in the show.

"The children were 'wowed' by the performance and written based tasks afterward on the topic were keenly taken on...All in all a huge success and a must for any class to see every year."

Pentrechwyth Primary School, Swansea.
