Fenton Arts Trust

The company have been awarded £5000 from the Fenton Arts Trust towards training a Director. The trust gives financial support to organisations like Theatr na n'Og that actively encourage and contribute to the Creative Arts in the UK.

The money will be used to give Welsh actor Phylip Harries the opportunity to develop his directing skills by assisting Theatr na n'Og's Artistic Director Geinor Jones with forthcoming projects. Phyl is usually seen on stage for Theatr na n’Og, and recently played Tudur the Owl in the company's musical Melangell/The Princess and The Hunter which toured theatres throughout Wales in February and March. Phyl also appeared in Spam Man in 2000 and Nia Ben Aur in 2003
