Halt! Who Goes There?

The latest exciting drama for years 5&6, based on the largest WWII POW escape attempt.

On the night of the 10th - 11th March 1945, 67 German Prisoners of War tunneled to freedom from Camp 198 in Bridgend. It was the biggest escape attempt made by German POWs in Great Britain during the Second World War.

The whole community take part in the hunt for the prisoners including four children who, armed with sticks, catapults and knitting needles set about capturing the Gerries! But their excitement is short lived however, when they discover a much darker secret!

Every Autumn Theatr na n'Óg produce, in conjunction with Swansea Museum a unique event which combines the best of Welsh theatre for young people and the exceptional educational resource available in South West Wales.

Theatr na n'Óg believes that theatre for young people should have the same high standards as theatre for adults, and we're committed to providing young people with opportunities to learn and play through the arts.

“The performances are so consistent, the material absolutely perfect for it’s audience, the pace and storylines fascinating for children and their teachers. Superb!” Hendrefoilan Primary School, Swansea.
