Jeremi Cockram

Jeremi was born in the Rhondda and grew up in Nelson. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen, before going to study English and Theatre Studies at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London. He began acting in 1990, and his theatre work includes productions with Man a Man, Cwmni’r Frân Wen, Spectacle Theatre, Theatr Powys, Dalier Sylw, Theatre West Glamorgan, Rigoberta, The Sherman and Theatr Na N’og.

On television he has appeared in Surfing Carmarthen Bay, Y Weithred, Palmant Aur, Yr Heliwr, Y Glas, Iechyd Da, and in Streetlife, A Mind To Kill and Mr Nice on film. Jeremi has also recorded several plays for Radio 4, Radio Wales and Radio Cymru.

He has directed productions for Spectacle Theatre, and his writing credits include Pam Fi Duw? and Jara for S4C, and 1&1 for Theatr Na N’Og.

He’s currently playing the part of Siôn White in BBC’s Pobol y Cwm.
