Max Jones

Max is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff and was a winner of the Linbury Biennial Prize for Stage Design 2001.

Max is an Associate Artist at Theatre Clwyd where he has recently opened a production of ‘Mary Stuart’ directed by Terry Hands. Previous designs for Theatre Clwyd include ‘The Mabinogion’, ‘The Grapes of Wrath’, ‘Two Princes’, ‘Porth Y Byddar’ and ‘Measure for Measure’.

Max has also recently staged ‘The Caretaker’ (Glasgow Citizens Theatre),‘Dumb Show’ (New Vic theatre, Stoke), ‘Sweeney Todd’ (Welsh National Youth Opera) and ‘Mad Forest’ (BAC, London)
