Ioan Hefin

Ioan has been working as an actor, writer and director since 1984.

He lives in Burry Port and likes to grow his own vegetables, cycle along the coastal path, enjoy good food and listen to all kinds of music.

His opportunity to perform the part of Wallace has been one of the biggest and most enjoyable challenges of his career.

As well as performing the part of Wallace, Ioan has also been working on ‘Pen Talar’ and ‘Gwaith Cartref’ for S4C, working in Trinity college Carmarthen, recording podcasts of ‘Corvus’ for the internet and adapting ‘Gluscabi’ for Theatr Na n’Og.

He has spent the summer trying to identify as many different species of butterfly as possible and is worried that he’s only managed to find 8 species so far!
