The Carolyn Davies Creative Learning Award

The Carolyn Davies Creative Learning Award

Every year magic is happening in classrooms all across Swansea as ambitious teachers and pupils create inspiring projects based on the themes of Theatr na nÓg productions. In memory of teacher and former chair of Theatr na nÓg board, Carolyn Davies, these creative efforts will be recognised and celebrated through a competition and exclusive award ceremony. To enter you just need to submit a 500 word description and short video about your class projects.

‘Carolyn was fuelled by the idea that every child had a right to see and experience the arts, and she put the child’s experience right at the heart of our work. She advised us and encouraged us to make the most relevant and vital theatre for our young audiences.’
- Geinor Styles, Artistic Director of Theatr na nÓg
