Originally from Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, Carwyn trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. His theatre work includes 'Esther', 'Cysgod y Cryman', 'Y Gofalwr' (Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru), 'Silence' (RSC Fringe), 'Bitsh!', 'Johnny Delaeny' (Cwmni Fran Wen), 'O Gam i Gam' (Arad Goch), Madog (Cwmni Mega), 'Ma Bili'n Bwrw'r Bronco' (Theatr na nÓg/Wales Millennium Centre), 'Halibalw, Hwyliau'n Codi' (Bara Caws) and ‘ The Amazing Adventures of Wallace and Bates’ (Theatr na nÓg). His television work includes 'Rownd a Rownd' (Ffilmiau'r Nant), 'Judge John Deed' (BBC) and 'Blodau a Sombreros' (Cwmni Da).

Chris Kinahan

Born and raised in Whitland, Camarthenshire, Chris currently lives in Pontyclun. Chris graduated with BA (Hons) in Acting from Trinity Saint Davids University in 2009. Theatrical work includes 'Halt! Who Goes There?' , 'Gluscabi' (Theatr na nÓg), the critically acclaimed one man show 'The Love of a Clown' (Edinburgh Fringe), 'Ma Bili'n Bwrw'r Bronco' (Theatr na nÓg/Wales Millennium Centre) ‘The Amazing Adventures of Wallace and Bates’, 'Halt! Who Goes There?', and ‘You Should Ask Wallace’ (Theatr na nÓg), Television credits include 'Rownd a Rownd' (Rondo), ‘Pobl y Cwm’ (BBC).

Aled Herbert

Aled is from Ystradgynlais in the Swansea Valley. He gained a degree in ‘Theatre’ at Trinity College, Carmarthen. Aled has toured extensively around the UK and Ireland with many theatre companies including; National Theatre Wales, Sherman Cymru and Theatr na nÓg. He has worked with Theatr na nÓg on numerous shows including, ‘Big Bad Wolf’, ‘Me a Giant’, 'The Ghost of Morfa Colliery, ‘Halt! Who goes there?’ and ‘We Need Bees’. His last TV appearance was on ‘Alys’ for S4C and he recently won a Royal Television Society award for the film ‘Mourning of the Valley.’ In his spare time Aled enjoys collecting autographs and riding rollercoasters. Aled would like to thank each and every one of you for coming to see the show.


Tonya Smith

Tonya was born and raised in Swansea, where she was a member of West Glamorgan Youth Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Wales. She went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Her television work includes DaVinci’s Demons, Emmerdale, Casualty, Gwaith Cartref,Pobol Y Cwm, 2 Dy a ni ,Treflan, Dirty Work, Trail of Guilt,The Secret World of Michael Fry, Mortimer’s Law, The Bill, Iechyd Da, Pam fi Duw and Y Glas. Theatre work includes Ty Barnarda Alba, Tyner yw’r Lleuad, a Y Pair ( Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru), Our County’s Good ( Watermill Theatre/West Berkshire), Cancer Time (Latchmere/theatre 503) The Cruicible (Young Vic workshop), Witch Child (One Woman show at Taliesin arts Centre), Flora’s war, The Secret, Word for Word, Hard Times, Silas Marner, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Damwain a Hap (all for Clwyd Theatr Cymru), Anne Frank (one woman show New Vic Stoke) and Christmas Carol (New Victoria Stoke) Jack and the Beanstalk and Hansel and Gretel (Torch Theatre) and Robin Hood (UK productions, Malvern)
Film work includes Blue Monday, Omlet and The Dark. Numerous radio plays and voice overs. She is probably best known however for her role as Yvonne in Pobol y Cwm
