On the night of March the 10th 1945, seventy German Prisoners of War escaped from Camp 198 in Bridgend.
It was the biggest escape attempt by German POWs in Britain during the Second World War. The whole community play a part in the hunt for the POWs including four children, who armed with sticks and catapults set about capturing the Gerries!
“It’s what we’ve been waiting for... something exciting!”
But their excitement is short lived however when they discover a much darker secret!
