Rosie's War tells the emotional and endearing tale of Rosie Birch, a young girl evacuated from Liverpool to Swansea at the onset of the Second World War - With the comforting words of "Nobody is going to bomb Swansea now are they?" ringing in her ears, she sets out on what will become an adventure of a lifetime.

We follow Rosie growing up during Wartime Wales, as she experiences the blackouts, the rationing and the bombing.

Once again Theatr na nÓg will introduce your students to the lives of ordinary people living through extraordinary times.

Fantastic performance where the children felt they were actually there at the war. Children were asking to watch another performance, which is great news for us as the majority of the children had never been to a theatre performance before and hopefully they will want to watch more in the future.

The play Rosie's War really brought to life what life was like for both the evacuee children and the host family. I thought it was excellent and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The actors on stage were outstanding especially by taking on different roles.
